Wizards @ Cavs +3 (209)

Both of these teams have been rather impressive to start the season as they both already have 7 wins. The Cavs rookie Evan Mobley has transitioned to the NBA game seamlessly and is already making an impact on both sides of the ball. I really like the way this Cavs team plays ball, and though they are without guard Collin Sexton for an extended period of time.. I don’t think we will see their production drop off. This game has an extremely low total and low totals tell me that one team isn’t going to blow out the other. This is going to be a slow paced game and both teams will struggle to create separation. Give me the home team that is playing confident ball and the points. If that’s quick little thought process doesn’t make you want to tail, the percent of money backs the Cavs as well too. Take the Cavs.

Bucks @ Knicks -4 (217)

The Bucks are fresh off a trip to the white house and a game last night. The line has moved from 2.5 to 4 with 87% of the money backing the knicks. I love the Knicks tonight at home. This is just another road game for the Bucks’ and they are without Middleton.  Meanwhile, this is a chance for the Knicks to show they are a contender out of the East. Expect the Garden to be rocking with Julius Randle and Company coming out firing. Take the Knicks.

Hornets @ Grizzlies -4.5 (229)

This is a system play. Both of these clubs are young, entertaining, and high paced teams. Plus, I will continue to smash overs until the Hornets prove they are capable of playing defense. This total is high and has already moved a point up. Doesn’t matter, the first team to 120 will win this game and I love our chances to get over this high point total. Take the over 229.

Thunder @ Pelicans -4.5 (209)

The Thunder are on a 2 game win streak while the Pelicans are still looking for their second win of the season. If the Pelicans being 4.5 point favorites doesn’t tell you to take them then I don’t know what will. Hungry dog runs faster. The young Thunder are feeling themselves and will get blown out tonight by the home team. Take the Pelicans. I also like Josh Giddy O5.5 assists. He has taken over the reigns as the main facilitator for this Thunder team and let Shai focus more on putting the ball in the hoop.

Mavericks @ Bulls -3.5 (215.5)

The Mavs come into tonight’s game riding a 3 game win streak and have been playing great ball. The Bulls have also continued to stack games in the win column. I love the Bulls diversity. They can beat you in so many different ways. Luka will have a plethora of defenders thrown at him that will make him work for everything he gets. There hasn’t been excitement like this in Chicago since the MVP D Rose years. This game feels much bigger for the bulls and the crowd will be behind them. Take the Bulls.

Kings @ Spurs -1

The Kings started the season hot and have been on a skid since. This could be a dogfight from start to finish. But, I like the 3-7 Spurs at home. Hungry dogs run faster.  Coach Pop will have the team ready to go and they will go out and get a much needed win. I don’t love this pick but I do think the Spurs out play this Kings team at home. Take the Spurs.

Wolves @ Warriors -7.5

The Warriors are a wagon and have the best record in the NBA. Steph Curry is playing at an MVP level once again and rising star Jordan Poole is stepping into his role very nicely. With that being said, the Wolves are fully healthy again and should have beat the Grizzlies in their last game. This number is too big and I expect the Wolves to keep it close. The Warriors have to regress at some point and I think they do tonight. The talent in this league is incredible and every team can beat any team on any night. The Wolves are hungry to get back on track and end this 5 game losing streak. Take the Wolves.
